Alpha MOS is an analytical instrumentation company which was set up in 1993 to develop, manufacture and market Electronic Noses and Tongues worldwide. It was the first company to introduce Electronic Noses to the market. Various of Alpha MOS developments are patented.
In 2008, Alpha MOS acquired Perichrom, a French company that develops and markets gas chromatography instrumentation.
Mission
Alpha MOS conceives and markets instruments and solutions for chemical profiling. The company more specifically develops sensing technologies that digitize the human senses and can provide an odor, taste or chemical profile of a product.
The mission of Alpha MOS is to:
- deliver instrumental measurements of the smell, taste or chemical fingerprint of products
- provide decision tools for R&D, Quality Control, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance departments
